Mongolian Lamb Stew/蒙古羊肉锅.

Cooked a pot of Mongolian lamb stew with dried bean curd stick with lots of spices and Chinese herbs. It's good for winter or rainy day. It's one of my family's favorite. You can add green vegetables to it too or eat it as a hot pot with a table top stove and add all the other vegetables that you fancy in it while it is heating on the table top stove.

Jiaozi or Guo Tie

We, my daughter and I had a jiao zi pleating competition a few weeks ago we managed to plaid 16 pleats and that's our best that we can do. This is how they look like, the 1st photo is the 14 pleats one, then comes the 15 pleats and then the last one is 16 pleats. Here is the photos of them and a plate of crispy pot stickers.

My Blessing to All of You/我的祝福

This is a family of stuffed owls that I made two days ago. The Japanese word for owl is fukurou, they made these as a gift for friends and there are not only as gifts but also as a blessing too. Because fuku in Japanese shares the same meaning and writing as the Chinese fu (褔) and fukurou seem to sound like fuku so they like the idea of giving their friends stuffed owls.
